Todd & Karen Our newest addition is from Norway and Ireland, and the two excellent musicians and composers remind us of some of the best songwriters from the famed music archipelago. We received a demo of "Mr Beardsley" in our sync licensing inbox and thought it was really quirky, and along with the corny lyrics and arrangements, we thought we should give it another listen and discovered it had already been released, all three songs, and that it was not quirky at all, just great songwriting with a humorous touch. We asked the band for more and were so impressed that we decided to sign and re-release all three tracks as soon as possible, along with the unreleased "L12," on a debut EP and begin working with the band on breaking through. Believe me, there are so many amazing songs in there, songs like "Bitter Brulée", "Blackpool Lights", "Bougie Suzie", "Driving Into Myrick Park", and "Edith Winifred Darkworth" to mention just a few of the over +15 greats that we have heard of so far and that deserve to see the light. |
